Yinarr Maramali (YML) is a Gomeroi women’s business based on Country (Tamworth, NSW), who support the wellbeing of their Community and Country through the continuation of their ancestral weaving culture. Bringing together generations of yinarrgal (women) and miyaygal (girls), who connect and share their stories through hand-woven creations and artworks. Using only natural materials collected by hand from Country and ethically sourced materials that are gentle on the environment.

Yinarr Maramali is a 100 percent Blak women owned and operated business.

Every purchase supports the YML Weavers and their cultural community programs.

The name ‘Yinarr Maramali’ means ‘made by Gomeroi women's hands’.

The Gomeroi Dance Company partners with Yinarr Maramali to design and deliver the Gomeroi Culture Academy as well as many other workshops and events.

Gomeroi Education and Training

Established in 2018, Gomeroi Education and Training (GET) is a proudly Aboriginal owned and operated Registered Training Organisation. As a provider of accredited Vocational Education and Training in Australia, studying at Gomeroi Education and Training is a unique opportunity as we focus on providing ‘Cultural knowledge within a cultural framework’.

GET have been developed to address the challenge of accessing Aboriginal cultural knowledge in a mainstream setting. We aim to equip Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with the necessary tools to address this obstacle. Gomeroi Education and Training also offer Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training for organisations that seek skills and knowledge in this area.

The Gomeroi Dance Company partners with Gomeroi Education and Training to deliver both Walan Garay and Barranggirra.
